Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Senior to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax compliance and consulting, excellent client service skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. As a Tax Senior at Haskell & White LLP, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax services and developing lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.
  • Conduct tax research and provide technical support to clients and team members.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies.
  • Coordinate with clients to gather necessary information and ensure accurate and timely filings.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members, providing guidance and feedback to support their professional growth.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations, offering expert advice and solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
  • Strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service and building strong client relationships.
