Kett Engineering is looking for good, dependable and safe drivers to join our customers team at their location in Commerce City, CO.

This full-time position requires the drivers to drive and evaluate advanced tractor/trailers and other vehicles for testing purposes.

No loading/unloading and no deliveries

Drivers will conduct the pre-trip safety inspection as required. Once completed you will be driving on "real world" durability test routes on various road surfaces.

The driver will electronically document in a very clear and concise manner.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid CDL A and DOT Card
  • Must have a clean driving history for at least the past 3 years. No at-fault accidents, DUIs, DWIs
  • Must have manual transmission experience
  • Must have at least 3 years tractor trailer driving experience
  • Attention to detail with the ability to communicate findings both verbally and in writing
  • Able to contribute in a team environment
  • Must pass pre-employment drug and background screens
  • Must be tech savvy; operate a smartphone, tablet, laptop

Desired Skills:

  • Passenger Endorsement a plus, not required
  • Experience in driving mountain roads in all weather conditions
  • Capability to perform the essential functions of this position without accommodations

Shift Hours:

1st Shift:  $28/hr.

7:00 am – 4:00 pm 

2nd Shift: $30/hr.

3:00pm - 1:00 am or 6:00 pm - 4:00 am
