In this role you will:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports in an accurate and timely manner
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends or exceptions and prepare clear reports for management
  • Assist in the preparation of SEC filings including: 10-Q, 10-K and press release filings
  • Maintain a reporting calendar and ensure all internal and external deadlines are met
  • Cross-check general ledger accounts and resolve any discrepancies found
  • Compare actual performance to budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision making
  • Review key financial metrics and ratios to understand organizational performance


Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience preparing financial reports for a publicly held registrant OR 2 years of Senior Accountant experience in a restaurant/retail environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel
  • Strong analytical abilities and proven problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with colleagues
  • Commitment to meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
