As a Level A Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure customer safety and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify and address mechanical issues.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and more.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance are performed to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Keep detailed records of all work performed, including parts used and labor hours.
- Provide exceptional customer service by clearly communicating vehicle issues, repair options, and estimated costs to customers.
- Stay current with the latest automotive technology and industry trends through ongoing training and professional development.
- Mentor and assist junior technicians and apprentices as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in automotive technology preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician.
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification required.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment, as well as computerized systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and work in a physically demanding environment for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and the ability to operate automotive repair tools and equipment.
