Patterns Behavioral Services, Inc. is seeking a friendly and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team in Albany NY. As a Behavior Technician, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services to children and adults diagnosed with Autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. At Patterns, we aim to be different by utilizing individualized, person-centered, compassionate-care practices to design the most appropriate programming for our clients. Our highly skilled team of clinicians is focused on building the most experienced, professional, and highly trained team of experts that is unparalleled in our field. 3:30-6:30pm Weekdays sessions available

Weekend sessions available

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy services to clients in various settings including home, clinic, school, and community-based settings
  • Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA
  • Collect and record data on client progress
  • Work collaboratively with the BCBA to modify treatment plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with families and caregivers
  • Attend training and supervision sessions
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to various locations
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
  • Basic computer skills
  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50lbs
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Previous experience working with individuals with Autism or other developmental disabilities preferred, but not required
