We are seeking a Hot Side Service Technician to join our team You will maintain and repair industrial production and processing machinery.

As a Field Service Technician, candidates will be responsible for all areas of in field service and repairs. Candidates are required to Diagnose, Service, and perform repairs on Gas, Electric, and Steam Commercial Cooking Equipment.

Qualified Applicants will be under the direction of the Service Manager who will dispatch calls to employee. Candidates will be provided a truck to maintain and use to reach jobs from site to site. (After probation period will be able to drive truck home)

Responsibilities: include but are not limited to:

  • These test and repairs include but are not limited to: electrical testing, inspecting, adjusting, calibrating, reading wiring diagrams, assembling, removal and reinstallation of equipment, parts identifying, and lubricating of said equipment.
  • Operate, perform, and provide tests with various meters and manometer.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on Commercial Food Equipment
  • Use a computer/cellular device to access in-house service dispatch system
  • Provide part information to Parts Manager for accurate pricing for customer. Acquire approval for parts ordering from customer.
  • Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance
  • Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Keep a professional attitude when operating in field.
  • Be organized, accountable and self-motivated
  • Maintain company vehicle to employers satisfaction. Turn in service tickets for completed jobs to main office for billing. Comply with all applicable service policies and procedures

​Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years experience in electrical and mechanical field.
  • 2+ years experience in Commercial Food Service. CFESA certification in Gas, Electric, and/or Steam categories is a plus.
  • Must have understanding of electrical schematics and OHM’s law.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
  • Excellent aptitude in the electrical/mechanical field.
  • Must have at least the following: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in appropriate field
  • Ability to learn new technology and repair/service procedures.
  • Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record (required to maintain record in good standing)
  • Ability to drive multiple hours per day
  • Able to undergo training provided by company. Strong communication skills (Written, Verbal, etc.).
  • Ability to write in a legible manner.
  • Ability to remain level headed in stressful situations.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Lift and carry 50-75 lbs. with or without assistance Climb stairs and ladders up to 20ft. Ability to bend, kneel, squat, reach overhead, twist, crawl, turn, and drive for the better part of 8 hours.
