The Grant Cardone Foundation is an international non-profit organization invested in helping youth in our communities reach their full potential. Entrepreneur and best-selling author, Grant Cardone, created the foundation as a result of experiencing the traumatic loss of his father when he was only ten years old. Growing up without a father figure in his life affected him emotionally, socially, and academically so, Grant has made it his mission to help young adults, who may need life and career guidance, just as he once did. The foundation partners with community organizations, municipal agencies, corporations, and other non-profit entities to help deliver energy and educational resources to kids in need.

The Philanthropy Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Philanthropy and handle all administrative aspects of the Foundation’s day-to-day operations.


Responsibilities:

Donor Communication

  • Assist the Director of Philanthropy with communication with donors and prospects through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and written correspondence, to cultivate relationships and steward their support.
  • Coordinate production and mailing of Day of Giving and year-end appeal letters.
  • Provide donation history reports upon request.
  • Perform special projects as assigned.

Database Management

  • Maintain foundation, corporation, and individual donor files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of contributions, pledges, interactions, and preferences.
  • Enter donations and pledges in the database and prepare acknowledgment letters.
  • Prepare membership reports for monthly board meetings.
  • Prepare capital campaign reports.
  • Perform special projects as assigned.

Event Coordination

  • Support the planning and execution of fundraising events, including annual fundraisers, donor cultivation events, campaign kick-off events, and other special events.
  • Assist in distributing campaign materials and promotional items to donors, volunteers, and stakeholders.
  • Be the day of liaison for guests to ensure a smooth event. Work with the events team on logistics and any other necessary tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, or related fields preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and tactfully with donors and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management software
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision

Hours: Monday through Friday 9am-6pm, with Overtime requirements on some weekends for events.
