Job Description

The General Manager (GM) is in charge of all daily operations of the restaurant and Food Truck reporting directly to the Owner. The GM is responsible for leading, mentoring and advising the management teams and staff to successfully execute the operations of the restaurant and Food Truck. The GM teaches management on the fundamentals and approach to achieve stated objectives in sales, cost controls, and hospitality while representing the values and culture of Burger 21. The GM will also need to have a strong understanding of the stores progress and have a strategic vision for its future development.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Lead and communicate with staff to set expectations and standards throughout the guest experience and overall operations

· Manage guest relations to achieve high customer satisfaction

· Analyze metrics, trends, and forecasts to ensure they meet and exceed financial and operational performance

· Enforce all company policies, procedures, standards, and protocols

· Ensure full restaurant compliance with all health and safety regulations

· Develop, Implement, and Execute local marketing initiatives

· Hire, train, and develop management and hourly staff

Requirements and Qualifications

· Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent but Bachelor’s degree preferred

· Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager at full-service or fast casual restaurant or a minimum of 1 year of experience as a General Manager at a full-service or fast casual restaurant.

· Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills

· Excellent communications, listening, and conflict resolution skills

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse employee base

· Self-motivated with a proven track record of success

· ServSafe Food Certified

· ServSafe or TIPs Alcohol Certified
