Welding Engineering & Assembly Company, Inc. is looking for a Misc Metals Fabricator, (non-structural, railings, window guards, and steel fencing). Responsibilities cutting, set up, layout, mig welding and grinding of various products. Ability to read simple cut sheets and layout drawings, or weld parts that have been fit. We will work with candidates that fit our profile to develop the job skills for advancement. You will work our shop foreman and Operations Manager that can support your training and skill development.

 

Job Skills include:

 

Working with other personnel;

Exposure to Arc and MIG welding;

Ability to fabricate Misc metals, (rails, window guards, fences, flower boxes, steel decks)

Grinding, cutting, and polishing;

Job layout, measure and cut, punch or shape parts, (we will train you on these processes and machines);

Some ability to read a simple one item shop drawings and some related building codes;

General mechanical and problem resolution skills;

Operation of cut saws, drill presses, and punch machines;

Drivers license;

Timeliness, dependability and general organizational skills;

Compensation:

Commensurate with the skills of the candidate. We are willing to work with you to train and develop your welding, or other skill development. Of course bonus pay for effort and contribution will always be considered.  Ability to grow and be promoted quickly.
