We are seeking an outgoing, friendly person based in the Bismarck area to sell fruit this summer This is a seasonal job selling fresh fruit. We sell mainly cherries and peaches, with an average season extending from early June to mid September. Compensation is 250$/day (30$/hr) , working three to six days a week (flexible scheduling). Hired as an independent contractor.

Responsibilities:

  • 3-6 8-hour shifts per week selling fruit direct from a fruit stand in Bismarck
  • Monitoring fruit refrigeration during off hours to ensure quality
  • Bimonthly trips to Dickinson to restock fruit or help with other stand's sales
  • Daily inventory and bank deposit
  • Driving a medium sized box truck and operating built-in refrigeration unit
  • Regular communication and teamwork with manager

​Qualifications:

  • Outgoing and friendly: this is essentially a sales position, so you can't be shy (sales experience a plus)
  • Clean driving record (final application includes Motor Vehicle Driving report)
  • Reliable and good communicator
  • Physically able to lift 50lbs, climb up and down tall vehicle regularly
  • Available from June to late August (September sales dependent on season)
  • Bismarck- or Dickinson-based
