We are seeking a Quality Lab Techician-3rd Shift to join our team The Lab Technician’s main responsibility is to test, document, and communicate the results of fabric, yarn, and other material in accordance to pre-set standards and test methods to support the BDUS business unit.

Responsibilities & Key Results Areas:

Main responsibilities and Key Result Areas:
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following all safety rules and maintaining 5S. • Maintain accurate data entry and record keeping • Perform equipment calibrations at predetermined intervals. • Read, understand, and follow Lab Standard Testing Procedures, ISO & AATCC Procedures, and Product Specifications/Requirements. • Perform routine physical test on fabric and yarn.
• Record test results in SAP Database.
• Identify and contain any non-conforming product and notify the affect parties. • Create data visualization by charting graphs using templates. • Communicate effectively with internal customers and stakeholders both physically and digitally. • Ability to solve basic math problems using a calculator or excel. • Ability to identify basic data/result trends and offer direction based on data • Perform autonomous maintenance as outlined. • Prepare test standards and solutions.
• Audit processes for compliance regarding laboratory testing.

Qualifications & Skills:

Ability to read, write, do basic math, and analyze data • Minimum High School Diploma required • Two- or Four-year college degree preferred • Microsoft office proficient (Word and Excel are key) • Prior Quality Control/Assurance Lab experience preferred. • Ability to use lab equipment to perform specified test on samples i.e., Instron tensile tester, Colorimeter/spectrophotometer, analytical scales, pH meters, etc. • LEAN manufacturing experience preferred • Proficient in the English language with effective communication skills • Willingness to learn new jobs/procedures • Ability to perform in a team setting with a shared workspace. • Ability to communicate in Spanish is an asset.
