Dash Cafe in Brighton, MA is seeking a rockstar minus the rockstar attitude, who is looking for job stability and an outlet for their culinary creativity. Someone with mad Chef skills who wants to apply those skills to operating all facets of a cafe.

 

About you:

Have at least 5 years in a professional kitchen with management experience- we are a small staff, so this position is very hands on- you play an integral part in the day-to-day overall operations.

Must love working with people and providing stellar customer service.

Have great communication skills- both verbal and written and be able to professionally engage with all walks of life.

Bring a positive attitude- be serious about the work but be able to take yourself and others lightly.

Focused, able to work efficiently, independently and ability to quickly pivot when needed.

Excellent attention to detail, self-motivated and driven.

 

About us:

We are a 12-year-old established and owner-operated cafe who take great pride in serving tasty, healthy food to the community with customer service being paramount.

Positive work environment with people that enjoy having fun while working hard.

We are currently operating Monday through Friday 8am-4 pm, serving a solid breakfast and lunch/dinner menu of staple items in addition to our featured specials.

We have a playful coffee/beverage program- not Starbucks, but we're no Dunkin Donuts either so we hope you enjoy coffee or have a willingness to learn.

 

Job requirements:

Knowledge of a POS system, preferably Square or equivalent and computer literate 

Serve safe and allergen certified preferred.

Strong work ethic and trustworthy

Experience with social media and marketing a plus.
