Job DescriptionJob Description

Cornerstone Staffing is currently looking for skilled Turret Operators for a large distribution warehouse in Tracy. These positions are temp to hire with a pay rate of 21.50 for 1st shift and $23.00 for 2nd shift. You must be able to pass both a seven year felony and misdemeanor background check as well as an oral drug screen.

The primary responsibility of the Turret Operator is to pick all orders in a safe, accurate, and methodical manner. Put away products and relocate pallets.

Responsibilities:

  • To pick all orders efficiently and methodically.
  • Turret operators are responsible for verifying the product description, product count, and location of the product during order picking. Make location corrections by relocation if needed.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of recent experience is a must.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in warehouse operations.
  • Working knowledge of material handling and warehouse management systems.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Good interpersonal skills- having the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; sit, walk, bend, reach, and stoop.
  • The employee must be able to frequently handle materials that weigh up to 75 pounds.

Shift: 4:30 am – 1 pm, or 1pm – 9:30 pm, must be able to work overtime.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.50 - $23.00 per hour
