Talent One Recruitment and Staffing is searching for a Laboratory Technician for a Wire Manufacturing Company.

Job Type: Temp to Hire
Schedule: 1st Shift Monday - Friday (OT as needed)
Payrate: $18/hr. - $23/hr.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform Mechanical testing, including inspection per internal SPC limits and SPC data entry.
  • Remove coating from wire surface.
  • Perform visual macro-inspection and prepare metallographic mounts.
  • Operate Spectrometer and perform chemical analysis.
  • Read and examine the metallographic mount for decarburization and surface discontinuities.
  • Interpret and verify information on work order and certifications.
  • Perform Rockwell Harness Test.
  • Heat treat samples for specific tests.
  • Process internal rejections and internal complaints.
  • Processing raw material samples.
