1st shift 7am-330pm $18.50

The captain position is entry level as long as they are familiar with a packing department and have knowledge of ASN’s (advance ship notice labels) palletizing and label application requirements for customers such as, TJX, HomeGoods, Walmart. They also must be familiar with Purchase Orders, Sales Orders & Packing Slips, and have some sort of leadership skills, if they don’t have the leadership skills, but have a strong Packing Department skill set (we will train them on the captain position) but they need to have the below knowledge

  • Lead a team of 4 or more packers (will train if needed, but must have good communication skills)
  • Oversee team ensure order is being packed palletized accurately and efficiently
  • Count labels to ensure they match Sales Order and cartons that were staged before starting order
  • Prepare Pallets Labels and Packing Slips
  • Enter totals (orders completed) in the google doc
  • Pack, label and palletize product (cartons) based on daily orders
  • Monitor product quality and report any problems or discrepancies
  • Keep products separated, organized, and accessible for the team
  • Operate various pieces of equipment (i.e. wrapping pallets, operating a pallet jack , etc.).
  • Collaborate with Packing Coordinator and other Captions to optimize space and create efficiencies among the team
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment

 

Required Qualifications

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to calculate and perform equations for precision on measurements

Able to stand for 8hrs or more

Bilingual is English and Spanish (Spanish required)
