We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team. As a pivotal member of our dental practice, you will be responsible for guiding patients through their treatment journey, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and support. Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Consultation: Meet with patients to discuss treatment plans recommended by the dentist. Explain procedures, expected outcomes, and associated costs in a clear and empathetic manner.
  2. Financial Coordination: Work closely with patients to develop personalized financial plans for their treatment. Discuss payment options, insurance coverage, and financing alternatives to ensure affordability and transparency.
  3. Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate treatment appointments according to patient preferences, dentist availability, and treatment timelines. Efficiently manage the appointment schedule to optimize productivity and patient satisfaction.
  4. Patient Follow-Up: Maintain regular communication with patients to address any concerns, answer questions, and provide ongoing support throughout their treatment journey. Follow up after appointments to ensure satisfaction and compliance with post-treatment instructions.
  5. Insurance Processing: Verify insurance coverage, submit claims, and follow up on outstanding claims to maximize reimbursement and minimize out-of-pocket expenses for patients.
  6. Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative duties such as maintaining patient records, updating treatment plans, and managing patient inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
  7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff to deliver seamless patient care and ensure a positive overall experience for every patient.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in a dental office preferred.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  4. Proficiency in dental software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance protocols.
  6. Compassionate demeanor and genuine commitment to patient care.
  7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
