Oak Hill Management is immediately hiring a Commercial Real Estate Maintenance Technician to join our team

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with property management, project management, and leasing coworkers to ensure commercial real estate properties operate and show well
  • Make regular rounds of the property: Review, walk/drive, inspect, and help maintain the cleanliness and safety of parking lots, external areas around buildings and common interior spaces (lobbies, elevators, fitness areas, amenities, etc.). Please note: This is not a janitorial position.
  • Oversee inspections, through the use of a preventative maintenance schedule, of building systems (HVAC, FA system) to determine and detect malfunctions
  • Complete or coordinate repairs as necessary
  • Follow-up with tenant service requests on work order system, including documentation
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and co-workers
  • Perform minor electrical and plumbing maintenance within individual skill set and licensure
  • Perform minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work (e.g., preparing surfaces, using brushes, sprayers, or rollers to apply paints, stains, and varnishes)
  • Hang doors
  • Install signs
  • Fit locks and handles
  • Insure building entrances, including common loading docks, are safely accessible
  • Coordinate scheduling of vendors for repairs
  • Maintain maintenance store rooms and facilities office in a neat, clean, and organized manner
  • Order and stock parts, maintaining required documents
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned
  • Must be able to work flexible hours
