Responsibilities and duties:

-Installing, maintain, troubleshoot and repair residential, commercial and industrial plumbing systems and fixtures

-Cutting, welding and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings and fixtures

-Perform routine maintenance of plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings

-Install plumbing systems in new construction and rehab properties

-Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety

-Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems

-Adhere to current rules and regulations related to plumbing so that systems pass inspection

-Safely operate fork trucks, man lifts, material lifts, etc.

-Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures

-Complete all required paperwork promptly and accurately

Plumber qualifications and skills:

-Valid driver"s license

-Knowledge of plumbing repairs, maintenance and installation techniques

-Knowledge of plumbing codes

-Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics

-Ability to perform mathematical equations

-Ability to use hand and power tools

-Health and safety regulations, including proper methods of storing equipment, materials and supplies.

-Ability to lift 50+ pounds unassisted
