Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Civil Engineer (Licensed) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects from conception to completion. As a licensed professional in North Carolina, you will bring expertise, integrity, and dedication to uphold regulatory standards and deliver outstanding results.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and other stakeholders to develop and review engineering plans and specifications for construction projects.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate project feasibility, site conditions, and compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, calculations, and documentation for regulatory approvals and permitting processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the construction lifecycle, addressing any engineering-related challenges or issues that may arise.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable building codes, zoning ordinances, and industry standards in all engineering designs and construction activities.
  • Perform structural analysis and design calculations to ensure the structural integrity and safety of buildings, bridges, and other structures.
  • Oversee quality control and assurance processes to maintain high standards of workmanship and construction excellence.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, inspectors, and clients to facilitate project approvals, inspections, and certifications.
  • Stay current with advancements in engineering technology, construction methodologies, and regulatory requirements, and integrate relevant innovations into project designs and processes.
  • Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement within the engineering team and across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of North Carolina, in good standing.
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in civil engineering, construction management, or related field, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and tools, including AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of North Carolina building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented approach to project management.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting a culture of integrity, professionalism, and excellence.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
