Structures Mechanic position 

SUMMARY Inspect, repair and fabricate aircraft composite structures and components on company and customer aircraft.

Performs work on assigned aircraft including assembly, repair, and modification as qualified while adhering to FAA regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

 Perform composite repair,sheet metal , fabrication, and modification using hand tools to produce aircraft products.

 Correct aircraft discrepancies involving composite repairs.

 Bench assembles and installs composite components on aircraft.

 Uses manufacturing planning, written instructions, schematics, blueprints and other applicable technical data to repair, fabricate and modify composite structures.

 Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawing and technical publications required.

 The ability to get along with others or to be part of a team.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE  This job requires a minimum of high school education or general education degree (GED) and minimum of 2 years work-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
