Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a diverse portfolio of complex book of business, catering to both local and international clients employing various funding methodologies.
  2. Serve as a subject matter expert within the Stop Loss team, collaborating with internal subject matter experts to devise intricate strategies aimed at enhancing client satisfaction and retention.
  3. Act as the primary liaison with vendor partners, negotiating plan terms and facilitating changes to the overall plan design.
  4. Gather, assess, and organize data for submission to the market to obtain quotes for stop loss programs.
  5. Lead client renewals by cultivating relationships with key partner stakeholders, employing insightful questioning to drive innovative benefit plan designs.
  6. Stay abreast of industry trends, carrier product offerings, and emerging developments.
  7. Oversee the implementation process, coordinating with teams, third-party administrators, and stop loss carriers.
  8. Support business development efforts by collaborating with Producers during prospect meetings, providing technical expertise, and guiding the Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
  9. Conduct Partner meetings, offering strategic advice and financial performance insights either alongside or independently from the team lead.
  10. Develop trusted relationships with Partner contacts through effective communication and meticulous execution of plan designs and projects.
  11. Liaise with Sales teams, Business Partners, and Brokers to address action items and communicate any vendor issues.
  12. Coordinate the preparation and analysis of Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, presenting client reports with recommendations.
  13. Utilize discretion and independent judgment when analyzing industry trends, providing valuable feedback to the team.
  14. Mentor and train team members to ensure the delivery of top-tier support, meeting or surpassing industry standards.
  15. Identify and resolve client service issues, implementing processes and policies to enhance overall client satisfaction.
  16. Stay informed about significant and potentially complex claim matters, assisting with negotiations and claim settlement resolutions on behalf of clients.
  17. Interpret clients' current plans and recommend opportunities to expand lines of coverage.
  18. Audit and submit specific claims for assigned clients, while also monitoring claims for these clients.
