Morning Ports Dispatcher

We are seeking a Full-Time MORNING PORTS DISPATCHER for our Wilmington, CA terminal.
Shift: Monday - Friday (7:30AM to 4:30PM)
Pay: $24-$25/hr (Base on Experience)

Job Responsibilities
This position would be responsible for coordinating the pick-up and return empty containers on an accurate and timely basis. Duties will include develop and update driver dispatch schedule daily next day, communicate dispatch instructions to drivers, effectively manage monitor driver compliance with DOT hours of service regulations, and communicate with terminals regarding appointment issue etc. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Successful applicants will have many or all of the following:

• Prior dispatch experience with trucking company
• Reply customers emails.
• Able to follow instructions and company procedures and policies.    
• Update the empty list in system as soon the customers notify the empty. 
• Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal, verbal & written communications skills
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Strong work ethic with an approach of high-quality service
• Ability to manage stressful situations and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of DOT regulations is a plus.

Experience:

• Ports Dispatching: 3 years (is must)
