We are seeking a 3rd Grade/ 4th Grade Tutor You will provide non-classroom instruction to students on an individual basis.

This student is located in Pembroke Pines close to Fletcher Park.

Student is in 3rd grade going to 4th for the 2024-2025 school year and will need tutoring in reading. The student currently tutors two days a week- Wednesday and Thursday from 4-5 P.M. The student speaks both English and Spanish while the family only speaks Spanish, fluency in Spanish and English is required for this position.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a 1099 position, you will be paid for time spent tutoring, not for traveling. Tutoring takes place in home or at the library depending on the family.

We are looking for tutors with a degree, experience with children, or a teaching certificate . Tutors will earn between $20-$25 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and educate students in a non-classroom setting
• Design and implement lesson plans at varying academic levels
• Establish academic goals and milestones with students
• Document and communicate progress reports
• Provide constructive feedback for students

• Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, or other related fields
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to build rapport with students
• Sufficient knowledge of core educational subjects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
