Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for someone able to read/interpret designer drawings, and process to completion, a set amount of cabinetry designs into Cabinet Vision each week . Also, one must be able to locate and purchase the necessary inserts or additional material required, all with minimal errors.

Input designer drawings into Cabinet Vision

  • Provide detailed drawings and thorough parts lists to the manufacturing floor using Cabinet Vision software and AutoCAD programs.

Ensure product functionality

  • Must be willing to work in conjunction with a multitude of people in ranging positions to create complete, and cost-effective products.

Correct errors in a timely manner

  • Must have persistence and flexibility when inputting jobs. If/when errors occur, one must be willing to reassess and seek out further understanding.

Input/order specialty products if needed

Answer multiple line phones

  • Must be able/comfortable when using phones to place orders, correct purchasing errors, and request returns/refunds.

Obtain approval signatures for completed projects

Maintain relationships within the company and with our distributors

Assist clients when applicable

Consult with management and designers for successful construction of designs

Time management skills

  • Must be able to juggle deadlines as construction is never lateral and shuffles occur often. Organize weekly schedule in order of importance and maintain file organization.

Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Essential): High school education or higher.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Desirable): Basic understanding of cabinet construction, computer skills, prior experience with Cabinet Vision, and previous experience in purchasing.

Above all one must have a high attention to detail and a desire to understand the basic construction and functionality of cabinetry and all other mechanics/inserts associated.
