Under the general supervision of the Content and Creative Services Manager, is responsible for developing graphic assets for the overall brand. Create effective print and digital graphic for external marketing, internal channels, social media, and executive presentations to support achieve the Airport’s key results in the Strategic Plan.

1. Conceptualizes, creates, and executes graphic design for all communications on external/internal channels, contributing to the overall brand of the Airport.

2. Utilizes both creativity and mastery of technology, along with principles of design including color theory, composition, message hierarchy, typography graphic skills to enhance usability and visual appeal while preserving and ensuring brand consistency is maintained across all media branding with Adobe technical software.

3. Collaborates with colleagues to create and inspire unique, memorable content that enhances the brand, adhering to brand guidelines and integrating consistent messages and tone across multiple channels.

4. Provide strategic direction and concept development for printed and digital marketing assets. Examples include but are not limited to digital and printed signage, flyers, posters, large format signs for printing, brochures, infographics, programs, booklets, wayfinding, logos, posters, computer-based assets, etc.

5. Translate ideas into engaging visual presentations and design solutions in Adobe Creative Cloud software.

6. Efficiently handles high-volume workload and ensure all deadlines are met.

7. Communicates with various vendors to coordinate the execution of print and digital deliverables.

8. Takes ideas and direction from multiple sources and incorporates those ideas into a single cohesive brand design digitally for print and digital assets.

9. Helps solve complex design problems in simple and intuitive ways, blending brand personality, interactions, and visuals to create delightful experiences.

10. Maintains, organizes, and updates archives of projects on group servers.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER 1835

· Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, Marketing, or related field from an accredited university.

· Three (3) years of experience in creating visual content for print, social media, marketing, or corporate communications for an agency or in-house corporate setting.

· Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.

· Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license.


· Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge and After Effects. Including Pantone coloring with computer generated software, professional pantone printers, scanners and DSLR cameras.

· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.

· Knowledge of DPI and resolutions for creating computer generated assets, large format printing, press printing, digital printing, digital signage and social media communication techniques and platforms.

· Communicates with external printers and vendors for understanding all technical DPI resolutions for ordering printed materials.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with SharePoint, OneDrive, or equivalent software.

· Strong knowledge of fundamental design, typography, photography, and design trends. Artistic ability and creativity. Familiar with best standards for designing for digital and printing assets.

· Experience with how to creatively find the client issues, research, conceptualize, and generate creative thought process and experimentation for the overall effective solution with a successful visual asset.

· Ability to multitask and is extremely organized with attention to detail. Ability to work under tight deadlines with conflicting deadlines. Strong time management abilities, and able to work with little supervision.

· Adapts to change in the work environment in ways that help keep projects “on course.” Integrates feedback for multiple projects and ongoing changes to produce the overall creative assets for brand.

· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively with in a fast-paced, team environment.

· Works in office environment.

· Exchanges information by telephone, in writing, electronically, and in person.

· Uses multiple keyboard devices and computer monitors.

· Uses manual and power-driven equipment, tools, and instruments.

· Uses color perception in working with inks, dyes, and color separations.
