We are looking to add to our Necropsy team

The Necropsy Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of technical staff within the Necropsy group, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to established policies, processes, and procedures. This role involves overseeing staff performance, development, and training, as well as managing hiring processes and resolving employee relations issues in collaboration with Human Resources. The Necropsy Supervisor also plays a key role in identifying and facilitating process improvements, maintaining departmental systems and SOPs, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Additionally, the supervisor contributes to scheduling, planning, data review, and tracking necropsy-related metrics to deliver high-quality results to sponsors.

This is an exempt role that is not eligible for overtime.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for an undergraduate degree in animal or life sciences and a minimum of one year of management experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of GLPs, study design, and laboratory operations are essential. The role involves a combination of office and laboratory work, with exposure to animal pathogens, chemicals, and the need for personal protective gear. Physical demands include lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
