Job Title: Auto Glass Installation Technician

1. Installation and Repair:

  • Install and repair various types of automotive glass, including windshields, side windows, rear windows, sunroofs, and mirrors.
  • Utilize appropriate tools and techniques to remove damaged glass and install new glass components securely.
  • Perform repairs on minor chips in windshields.

2. Customer Service:

  • Excellent customer service is a must Communication with customers regarding arrival time to their scheduled appointment for mobile jobs.
  • Address customer questions and concerns regarding the repair process, materials used, and warranty coverage.

3. Documentation:

  • Document work performed, including details of repairs or replacements, materials used, and any additional services provided.

4. Team Collaboration:

  • Assist colleagues with tasks related to glass installation or repair when necessary.

5.  Professional Development:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to automotive glass installation and repair.
  • Participate in training programs and certification courses to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in automotive glass installation and repair preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions, including kneeling, bending, and reaching.

  • Comfort working in outdoor environments and in varying weather conditions.

Work Environment:
