Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are actively seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals currently enrolled in a graduate program for counseling, or social work who have met the college requirements to participate in a practicum/internship. Join our team and play a crucial role in providing services that inspire hope, foster healing, and provide overall health for our clients. This opportunity is designed to provide hands-on experience in mental health counseling. The selected interns will work closely with our experienced mental health professionals to contribute to the well-being of our clients. This unpaid internship opportunity will provide real-world experience within clinical counseling in a multigenerational and multicultural client setting.  Responsibilities:
  • Assist in conducting individual and group counseling sessions under the supervision of licensed professionals.
  • Collaborate with the mental health team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Administer assessments and screenings to clients to identify their mental health needs.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Participate in team meetings and case consultations to enhance professional development.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
 Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program for counseling or social work.
  • Has met the college requirements to participate in a practicum/internship.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Empathy and a genuine interest in helping individuals facing mental health challenges.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
