Job Summary
We are a boutique, closely-knit personal injury law firm seeking a Legal Assistant / Case Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling a mix of pre-litigation and litigation files. We are NOT a volume firm - the candidate will enjoy a manageable caseload of normal to high complex cases, and will enjoy forming meaningful relationships with the firm's clients. We like to work, but we like to have fun while working. Pay rate commensurate with experience and attitude. Benefits package available.

Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with legal research, document preparation, and case management
- Manage and organize legal documents and correspondence
- Conduct factual investigations and gather relevant information for cases
- Coordinate communication between clients, attorneys, and court personnel
- Maintain attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and manage deadlines
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and answering phones

Requirements

- Fluent in Spanish
- Proficiency in legal software such as Lexis-Nexis
- Experience providing executive administrative support in a legal setting
- Strong skills in legal drafting and document preparation
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
- Previous experience working in a law office is required, while personal injury specific experience not required for the right candidate

Job Type: Full-time
