Innovative Beauty Products, a family run business located in Arlington, TX, is looking for a full time Shipping Assistant Manager.  We have been in business for 19 years with our start in servicing the professional beauty supply industry (salons and spas) with products that tint eyelashes and eyebrows.  We have expanded our product offering and distribution, currently shipping in North America, Eastern and Western Europe, Middle East, New Zealand, South America and Australia.  We are focusing our growth on domestic retail accounts.  We are looking for the right person to become part of our growing family.

We are seeking a dynamic, self-starting, fast-paced individual that demonstrates initiative and commitment with a positive attitude. 

The Shipping Assistant Manager is a diverse position spearheading the shipping department while providing administrative support to the Office Manager and Business Owners reporting to the Office Manager. Duties include processing orders in QuickBooks, shipping orders, answering phones, assisting warehouse production when needed.  Occasional projects from Office Manager and business owners to support strategy of the company and growth of the brand.  We are looking for an individual that can multi-task with a positive attitude and can work in a team environment.  Organizational skills are a must.

Responsibilities

·       Manage daily in the order processing; generating invoices, packing slips, shipping labels in an office environment.

·       Working within Fishbowl inventory system and partnering with warehouse employees to process the orders in the warehouse; picking product, boxing, sealing and labeling for pick up by national carrier.

·       Final quality check on all shipments.

·       Answering phone; taking phone orders and answering customer product questions

Education/Certification

High School graduate required.

Experience

·       1-3 years of mid to high level administrative support.

·       Microsoft Office skills. Excel, Word, Outlook and QuickBooks, any warehouse inventory software

·       1 year of manufacturing or distributor experience with knowledge of purchase orders, packing slips, and invoicing

·       EDI order processing a plus but not required

·       Spanish speaking a plus but not required

·       Communication skills - Excellent written and verbal skills.

·       Planning/organizing—the individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently.  Organizational and detail oriented skills a must. 

·       Lifting of boxes no more than 25 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm
