Our clients include packaging companies, distributors, retail entities, product manufacturers and ad agencies. You will find our work in the retail spaces of multinational corporations, on name-brand household packaging, and at your corner gas station.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Prepress Specialist to join our team. As a Prepress Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our print and digital materials before they go to production. You will work closely with our design and production teams to prepare files for printing or online distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and preflight design files for print and digital projects.
  • Ensure proper color management and image resolution for print.
  • Make necessary adjustments to files to meet printing and production specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers and production teams to resolve any file issues.
  • Prepare and send files to print vendors or digital platforms.
  • Maintain and organize digital assets and archives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and software tools.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in prepress, print production, or design related field.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard prepress software: Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Pitstop Professional, and Kodak Prinergy.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of different print processes and file formats.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of preflight and prepress automation tools is a plus.

Education:

  • A degree in graphic design, prepress, or a related field is preferred but not required.
