Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our unique pharmacy, You will assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist -- more than putting pills in a bottle, we make things from scratch. NO WEEKENDS, NO LATE NIGHTS. Pharmacy hours are 9 am to 6 pm, Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Customer service for walk in patients and over the phone
- Prepare, process and end-package medications
- Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders
- Process prescriptions using computer software
- Label and record dosage information
- Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
- Light housekeeping and assisting with filing, copying, etc.
Qualifications:
- PTCB certification recommended, but not necessary; registration with Georgia Board of Pharmacy required.
- Must have previous experience in pharmacy
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
