his n’ That Amish Outlet is seeking an experienced Furniture Store Director. Our furniture division specializes in custom handcrafted hardwood Amish Built furniture. This n’ That is not your typical furniture store as most of our furniture is custom designed and hand built to specifications.

Requirements for Furniture Store Director: As the Furniture Store Director, you must have exceptional sales skills, leadership skills, possess a professional work ethic and ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, employees and manufacturers.

Duties to include but not limited to:

Vendor Communication & Orders

  • Serve as primary contact to builders with orders, products and pickups.
  • Request updated pricing and quotes from manufacturers.

Furniture Sales

  • Responsible for the overall training of sales staff in all stores, specifically in regards to furniture.
  • Continuously work with sales associates on sales floor, training techniques and completing orders correctly.
  • Oversee merchandising in all stores.
  • Educate sales staff of any promotions and train on how to execute in detail.

Management Duties

  • Disciplinary reports for associates working under your direct supervision. Partner with GM and have discussion with associate.
  • Collect deposits.
  • Direct all personnel issues to the Operations Manager or owners of the company
  • Management of company wide furniture inventory and sales
  • Managing barcoding of all products and information in Shopify

Experience:

Minimum 1-year retail management experience

Minimum 1-year furniture sales experience

Full time position, weekends are required.
