JOB SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, to perform a variety of technical tasks involved in the staging of events in the Clubhouses and Theatre. This is a part-time position, working on a rotating schedule.

To set up and take down furniture and equipment as required in the auditorium and to perform

related work as required. Work involves regular contact with other employees and residents.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Sets up and operates a variety of audio, visual, lighting equipment, devices and systems.

Ensures all audio, visual and lighting equipment is fully operational. Performs routine maintenance on equipment and communicates problems to senior clubhouse technician.

Regular attendance required. All duties performed on-site for the Community.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduation from high school, with some direct work related experience with electronic, audio or projection equipment or any equivalent combination of education and experience which produces the following:

· Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the job.

· Knowledge of safety hazards relating to electronic and theatre equipment.

· Knowledge of the operation and basic working components of audio/visual and other related electronic equipment.

· Knowledge of stagecraft and the production of shows in a theatrical setting.

· Ability to work hours determined by shift assignment.

· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and residents.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

·Possession of a valid California driver’s license.
