Brake Press Setup Operator in Germantown, WI

2nd Shift

$18-23 BOE

Press Brake Set-up/Operator Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily set-ups and programming requirements for the safe operation of Cincinnati press brakes that range in capacity from 75 Tons to 350 Tons.
  • Select tooling and create programs to support current product mix and for the development of new products.
  • At times lead team in helping other Press Brake operators in the set-up and operation of Press Brakes to achieve part/quality specifications.
  • Coordinate team resources to complete daily production schedules – by setting priorities and sequencing to ensure efficient use of equipment resources.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve day-to-day challenges that may come about.
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain a smooth workflow – and make adjustments/recommendations to crewing as required.

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience working within a team-based environment – and exhibit good communication skills.
  • 3 – 5 Years of Experience in Machine Set-up/Programming and Operation of Press Brake equipment.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, solid math skills and use of measurement tools.
  • High attention to details – supporting Quality and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
