Good Neighbor Program Manager

Goodwill of the Finger Lakes is looking for a Good Neighbor Program Manager to serve as a creative community builder who will lead our outreach within the community and the operations that entails. In this exciting role, you'll play a key role in integrating Goodwill within the communities we serve. You'll lead a team of passionate individuals to connect those in need with community resources to make a real difference. You'll also help develop and oversee initiatives that address community needs, fostering a spirit of collaboration and support.
Goodwill of the Finger Lakes is a non-profit organization which serves the greater Rochester and Finger Lakes region. We strive to eliminate barriers, increase equity for marginalized groups, and support individuals in crisis. A day in the life of (Good Neighbor Program Manager) :
- Serve as a spokesperson for Goodwill, presenting and sharing how Goodwill serves its community both directly and through collaborative partnerships
- Track program performance and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate with other departments and organizations to create impactful Good Neighbor programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners that align with our mission, vision and values
- Manage Good Neighbor communications through in-person, call and email requests to ensure fast response and resolution
- Direct and oversee team on how to utilize internal and external resources to assist individuals seeking support in health, human services, and government sectors, including MyWayfinder.
- Develop processes to implement new service and improve current services
- Create and refine Good Neighbor policies and procedures as program grows
- Supervise and coach Good Neighbor Coordinators across all locations
To be successful, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, community development, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in community engagement, social services, or a similar role
- Knowledge of local community resources, organizations
- Proficient in using technology and computer applications, including email management and database systems.
- Empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to support individuals in need.
