Job DescriptionJob Description

You will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our valued clients. In addition, you will recommend technical solutions to a varied industrial customer base, support outside sales, and generate complex quotes. The candidate must have a positive attitude, be a good communicator, and have the technical skills to provide timely and accurate solutions to customers’ applications. Experience using manufacturers’ selection software and troubleshooting technical problems is a plus. Candidate must be a detail-oriented problem solver and a positive team player. Training will be provided on all portals, selection software, order entry program, and all other technical duties.

Qualifications:

  • · Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the pump industry
  • · Excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
  • · Computer literacy and competency with Windows based programs and Microsoft Office
  • · Effective communication skills
  • · Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • · Positive attitude in a fast-paced work environment
  • · B.S. Mechanical Engineering or equivalent H.S. Diploma with mechanical aptitude and experience
  • · Sales experience a plus

Responsibilities / Job Description:

  • · Proper selection and sizing of pumps and related equipment using provided selection programs.
  • · Review bid specifications and requests for quotes
  • · Develop quotations for new pumps, related equipment, parts, and repairs.
  • · Create sales packages and support documentation for projects.
  • · Enter orders internally and with various equipment manufacturers.
  • · Purchasing of pumps, parts, and materials
  • · Interact with suppliers, vendors, colleagues, and customers maintaining professional poise.
  • · Provide trouble shooting problem solving technical support to meet customers’ requirements.
  • Maintain expert level of product knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts, and correspondence.
  • · Answer phones in a professional manner and offer exceptional customer service.
  • · Support outside and inside sales
