Schedule: 2nd shift Monday -Friday starting at 12 pm-8:30 pm.

General Description:

United Employment Solutions is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team in Huntington Beach, CA. The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for overseeing the facilities, equipment, maintenance projects, and maintenance programs at the Huntington Beach facility. This includes all manufacturing equipment (cooling system, mixing tanks, positive displacement pumps, centrifugal pumps, diaphragm pumps, homogenizers, tri-blenders, colloid mills) and auxiliary equipment, as well as facility grounds and equipment (boilers, cooling system, HVAC, extractors, and overall building maintenance).

  • Maintenance: Keep the facilities, machines, and all related support equipment in working order.
  • Improvement Initiatives: Lead or assist in engineering and construction projects.
  • Up-Time/Downtime: Maintain up-time/downtime targets.
  • Repairs/Modifications: Repair and modify machines and support equipment safely and per OEM and OSHA standards.
  • Audit Response: Assist manager with responding to internal and external audits.
  • Preventative and Corrective Maintenance: Ensure maintenance programs are performed on schedule and accurately.
  • Vendor Oversight: Oversee outside vendor contract work.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory of spare parts and critical equipment.
  • Compliance: Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety programs.
  • Regulations and SOPs: Follow established department SOPs, cGMP regulations, and batch record instructions.
  • Safety: Maintain a safe work environment and operate in a safe manner.
  • Other Duties: Perform other related job duties as assigned by management.

Leadership:

  • Policy Support: Ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures, standards, and work-rules.
  • Employee Guidance: Provide coaching, guidance, and training to department employees to meet company standards and work expectations.
  • Leadership Example: Set a positive example of leadership, promoting open communication, team-building efforts, and employee morale.

  • Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
