Job DescriptionJob Description

TSR is seeking a Jr. Instrument & Controls Designer to work with one of the largest EPC firms in the country. This is a long-term contract position in the Towanda/Wysox, PA area. This would be a great fit for a field technician looking to move to a design position.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of instruments associated with industrial & chemical processing equipment with interest in engineering design work. This could also be a good fit for a recent graduate of a CAD training program.  The selected candidate will work with, and be mentored by, Senior Designers at the site that are capable of teaching the CAD software and acting as a resource for any technical questions.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation associated with industrial & chemical processing equipment
    - OR – an associate degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrument/Controls Technology, certified CAD Training program
  • AutoCAD, or Microstation preferred
  • Excellent time-management skills and the ability to plan, prioritize, and implement multiple, concurrent projects or activities.
  • Good communication & documentation of work products are essential
