This opportunity is located in Highwood Il 

We are looking for a skilled Hairstylist/Colorist to join our growing team. If you are passionate about hair, have excellent communication skills, and enjoy providing exceptional customer service, we would love to hear from you. Join our team where you can showcase your creativity and make a positive impact on our clients' lives.

    Responsibilities:

- Provide hair styling services to clients, including cutting, coloring, and styling hair

- Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and preferences

- Stay up-to-date with current hair trends and techniques

- Recommend hair care products and treatments to clients

-  Apply hair treatment products, as needed (e.g. color protection creams and hydrating masks)

- Create hairstyles for formal events and everyday looks, including braids, ponytails and buns

- Ensure tidiness of beauty stations and sterilize tools, as needed- Sanitize tools and equipment regularly

    Requirements

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs

- Knowledge of color theory and ability to recommend appropriate hair colors for clients

- Ability to educate clients on salon services and products to achieve and maintain clients style

- Form bonds with loyal customers and remember their hairstyle preferences

- The ability to work with teammates to develop a supportive and positive salon vibe

  Hair Stylist Qualifications:

    - Active Cosmetology and/or Barber License

    - 1 year experience
