Job Description:
G.J. Goss Contracting Inc., is hiring for an Entry Level Sales Representative/Project Estimator to work alongside an established sales team. This individual will work primarily in the Harford and Baltimore County areas with occasional travel to Cecil and Westminster County areas, Baltimore City, and southern portions of Pennsylvania. Primary workplace will be in Joppa, MD. This employment opportunity will be full time position working Monday – Friday primarily between 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Occasional working hours may be required during the evening or on Saturdays.

Job Environment: Dynamic workplace within an established family owned and operated business where the average tenure of its employees is 25 years.. Majority of the work will be outside in the field with a portion of the work occurring within a designated office space at G.J. Goss Contracting Inc.

Ideal Candidate:0-2 years of experience in sales or exterior remodeling. Flexible individual able to adjust to changing schedules. Motivated and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed. Physically able to lift 50+ lbs.

Duties:
• In the field (approx. 75% of working hours):
- Meet with customers requiring repairs to exterior portions of their residence (siding, windows, roofing, gutter and downspout systems, shutters, doors, etc.),
- Determine the scope of repairs needed to meet the customer’s needs,
- Meet with customers to discuss job details and finalize contracts,
- Drop off and retrieve samples,
- Retrieve leftover materials.

•In the office (approx. 25% of working hours)
- Generating the initial stage of a project consisting of an estimated project scope, material list, information specific to the project, special notes/considerations,
- Complete follow up calls to customers to discuss project details and answer any questions/concerns,
- Coordinate with office staff to ensure consistency throughout the sales/estimate process.
