Have you ever wanted to be an Employee Owner? We are looking for a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as the Distribution Lead

As a Distribution Lead, this person is key in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of goods and will perform and oversee the processing of goods handling at their reporting location. This individual is responsible for monitoring inventory levels and maintaining the accurate and efficient operation of the warehouse by receiving, stocking, assembling, and transporting goods.

  • Perform and oversee the receipt, assembly, and transportation of equipment, ensuring all activities performed are completed at a level consistent with PERRY proTECH’s high expectations
  • Ensure monthly and quarterly inventory counts are completed, verified, and reported
  • Assist the field service staff in completing car stock inventories as needed
  • Maintain the organization of the warehouse based on the timeline of customer orders
  • Maintain an awareness of inbound order status to define task priorities
  • Review open sales and purchase orders and address accordingly
  • Ensure system interaction is accurate and timely
  • Maintain company equipment and vehicles being used for deliveries
  • Communicate with internal logistics team regarding the receipt and delivery of goods as well as the timely completion of other task assignments
  • Communicate with logistics and sales to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded
  • Recognize and escalate issues when additional assistance is required
  • Actively participate in logistics conference calls for updates on activities
  • Participate in training to ensure in-depth knowledge of common ERP Systems
  • Complete all required company and governmental safety training or certifications
  • Cross train on all departmental positions with the goal of providing hands-on support when needed
  • Resolve internal team questions about warehouse arrangements

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The Distribution Lead works in the warehouse and is required to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods of time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate degree is preferred
  • Supervisory experience is a plus
  • General office equipment knowledge and experience in a Logistics environment is a plus
  • Pass IDOT/ODOT Physical
  • Clean driving record
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
