Full or part time paraeducator to support students in surrounding schools.

As a Special Education Paraprofessional, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs. You will work closely with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to create a nurturing environment for all students. Your dedication and compassion will contribute to the success of our students and the overall educational community. Responsibilities: Collaborate with lead teachers to implement lesson plans and support student learning. Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students during instructional time. Foster a positive and respectful classroom environment. Adapt materials and activities to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities. Assist students with daily tasks, including personal care if needed (toileting, medications etc)Behavioral Support: Implement behavior management strategies as directed by the teacher. Help maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment. Foster positive relationships with students and encourage social-emotional growth. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (additional education preferred). Willingness to get your para 1 or para 2 certification.
