Genesis Systems, Inc. is looking for a Cleaning Professional. Genesis is looking for a positive, motivated individual who enjoys cleaning and takes pride in their work. There is a full-time position open for a Cleaning Professional to work a flexible schedule. This position involves the cleaning of offices, residences, and apartments located in Harrisburg and surrounding areas. Genesis provides all cleaning products and supplies.

  • Duties-The list is not all inclusive or listed in any specific level of importance:
  • Bathrooms: Cleaning bathroom toilets/sinks/mirrors, sweeping/mopping floors, emptying wastebaskets
  • Individual Offices/Cubicles/Rooms: Emptying wastebaskets, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning windows
  • Kitchen Areas: Cleaning counters/sinks, sweeping/mopping floor, emptying trash cans/recycling, wiping down tables/chairs, cleaning refrigerator/freezer, and cleaning windows
  • Common Areas: Vacuuming carpets, sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning windows, emptying wastebaskets, dusting, cleaning conference room table

Requirements:

  • Must be available to work on a flexible full-time schedule including some weekends
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable working vehicle
  • Must be willing to travel to the offices, area residences and apartments each week for cleaning
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs
  • 1-2 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper a plus but not required
  • Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn
