Job Description:
Strategic Power Innovation, a company with a steadfast commitment to ethics, passion, integrity, and the Golden Rule, is looking for a Field Service Technician – UPS based in Southern California. This role offers an excellent work-from-home opportunity, with a significant portion of the work taking place on customer sites across California.
As a Field Service Technician, you will be instrumental in building confidence in our clients, one project at a time, by ensuring the operational integrity of their critical infrastructure systems. You will not just be a vendor but a trusted advisor and partner to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
● Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair equipment and systems at customer sites. Ensure that all installations are performed according to company standards and safety regulations.
● Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and operational issues. Provide timely and effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime and disruption to customer operations.
● Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer queries and concerns promptly and professionally. Train customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
● Technical Support: Offer technical support and guidance to customers, both remotely and on-site. Assist customers in understanding and resolving technical issues.
● Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, maintenance activities, and customer interactions. Ensure all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
● Travel: Travel to customer sites as required. This may include out-of-town or overnight travel depending on the geographic area and customer needs.
● Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
● Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in the field. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
