ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The Stock Room Coordinator is responsible for the proper storage, movement, and tracking of all material in the stockroom and assembly stocking areas.  Daily tasks include:

  • Receive materials into the stockroom or assembly stocking location, verify the correct count for each transaction, ensure the parts and their storage location are properly packaged and labeled, and place the parts in their storage location.
  • Issue parts to the assembly or production floor.
  • Fill customer parts orders. 
  • Follow proper FIFO and/or lot tracking practices when storing, issuing, or moving parts.
  • Record inventory transactions in the Dynex computer system.
  • Perform cycle counts and/or periodic physical counts.

As needed, the Stock Room Coordinator may be asked to perform and/or assist in other miscellaneous duties including but not limited to: assemble minor assemblies and sub-assemblies; minor cleaning and rust protection; degrease and spray paint; receive incoming material; help pack orders and make cardboard boxes; load and/or unload trucks; housekeeping assignments; operate company truck to pick up and/or deliver material.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Some experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Fork truck experience a plus, but we will train.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Competency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
