Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading trucks as they come in (van trailers and flat beds).
- Processing various types of scrap metal (dumping, sorting, cutting).
- Weighing/labeling different materials.
- Help with month end/year end inventory.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to use a forklift, saws-all and steel strapping tools
- Previous forklift experience is preferred.
- Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions.
- Some shipping paperwork for material coming in and out will be required.
- Must have attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift 50+lbs unassisted.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Basic math is required.
- Must be okay with a fast paced work environment, where every day will be different
