We are a non- emergency medical transportation company that transports our clients up in the Northern Navajo Reservation and locally in the Phoenix Metro area to/from varies medical appointments approved by their insurance companies. We are looking for an Auto Mechanic to repair and do regular/routine maintenance on our transportation vehicles on a daily basis for our local vehicles and do a routine overview/repair on our reservation vehicle when those drivers come into town. You will be responsible for repairing various vehicles and transmission systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Repair White Horse owned cars, vans, and other motor vehicle
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Inspect vehicle systems including suspensions, engines, and transmissions for potential issues
  • Use proper tools to test vehicle components
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards
  • Diagnosing and repairing problems with vehicles, such as engine, transmission, brakes, etc.
  • Place parts orders via phone to local parts stores contracted with White Horse
  • Keeping an accurate log of all the work performed
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a mechanic
  • Knowledge of shop equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Time management
