Responsibilities:
- Commission AV systems including audio, video, control, and network components to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and calibration.
- Work closely with installation teams to verify that systems are installed according to design specifications.
- Test and validate system functionality and performance against client requirements.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on system operation and maintenance.
- Document system configurations, settings, and commissioning processes.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure successful project completion.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Audio Visual Commissioning Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of AV systems, including audio, video, control, and network components.
- Proficient in system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and calibration.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Certification in AVIXA CTS, Crestron, or equivalent is a plus.
