Job DescriptionJob Description

Objective: Displays accuracy and thoroughness, while completing work assignments in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

· Wash and Sanitized hands, wear gloves before handling any meals or component

· Follow routes and time schedule

· Review menu for today’s meals, identify the categories for each meal component as a wheat, grain, fruit, milk, juice, snack, and vegetables

· Locate and review your daily count list on the meal count sheet

· Review your site orders, package them accordingly. Determine if your components are packaged in Bulk (Meals delivered to high schools) are bagged separately.

· Locate the components required to make the meal complete and process the site orders one at a time. (Include condiments, eating utensils etc.)

· Begin to process your order

· If the meal is hot or cold locate the time and temperature lid to coincide with your delivery time, the Cambo’s will hold up to 4 hours. If any meals are delivered outside the four-hour (4) window, please contact your site director.

· Fill out your delivery sheet with all the required information such the type of meal, menu, pickup and delivery time, the temperature, number of meals, site signature and Driver signature.

· Begin to load your vehicle up for delivery

· Make sure your vehicle is clean

· Make sure there is a mileage log journal kept for each delivery you make

· Inform customers about new products and services

· Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes

· Complete reports

· Make sure your music is turned off/low when you arrive at your destination

· Sanitize hands and bring a pair of gloves with you

· Ask the site attendant, where to place the meals

· Put gloves on and begin to count the meals that are delivered. If the number of meals and their components are accurate, have the site attendant or supervisor sign your delivery slip.

· DO NOT leave the site without having (2) signatures on the delivery slip and the form filled out.

 

Requirements and skills

· Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver

· Valid professional driver’s license

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good driving record with no traffic violations

· High school degree
